Our “grandmas” (and grandpas) are retired professionals, nurses, and community members who bring experience, warmth, and reliability into every home. Meet the Founder
Dianne Mayor: The Heart of the Business
Dianne Mayor, founder of Rent-A-Grandma Las Vegas, has dedicated her life to helping families feel supported. After her first grandchild was born, she became Las Vegas’s first certified postpartum doula and newborn care specialist in 2009, launching Newborn Angel Care to guide new parents through those early months.

Years later, as a seasoned grandmother (who never had a grandmother of her own), she took that same nurturing spirit and expanded it — founding Rent-A-Grandma Las Vegas in 2025.

When she discovered that a similar idea had once appeared on Shark Tank, she reached out and partnered with the original founder to bring the concept to life here in Nevada — adding her own flair, deep community roots, and family-first personality.

Originally from Astoria, New York, Dianne raised her family on Long Island before moving to Las Vegas in 2007. She’s a proud mom of two, grandmother of four, president of her bowling league, and lifelong Grateful Dead fan.
